B1007-01: “PASS AIR BAG OFF” Indicator Light Circuit
“PASSENGER AIR BAG OFF” indicator light circuit has been shorted to ground, shorted to power supply or opened.
•“PASSENGER AIR BAG OFF” / “PASSENGER AIR BAG ON” indicator light circuit
•Hazard switch
•SDM
B1008-01: “PASS AIR BAG ON” Indicator Light Circuit
“PASSENGER AIR BAG ON” indicator light circuit has been shorted to ground, shorted to power supply or opened.

Was “Air Bag Diagnostic System Check” performed?
Go to Step 2.

“PASSENGER AIR BAG OFF” / “PASSENGER AIR BAG ON” indicator light circuit check
1)Check that ignition is “OFF”.
2)Check for proper connection to connector “G153”.
3)Disconnect “G153” connector. icon 
4)Set ignition “ON”.
5)Measure voltage between “G153-3” terminal and ground.
Special Tool
(A): 09932–76010

Is measured voltage 10 – 14 V?
Go to Step 3.
Replace instrument panel harness.

“PASSENGER AIR BAG OFF” / “PASSENGER AIR BAG ON” indicator light circuit check
1)Set ignition “OFF”.
2)Check for proper connection to “L05” connector.
3)Disconnect “L05” connector. icon 
4)Check the following points.
•Resistance between “L05-14” and “G153-8” terminals (DTC B1007-01): 1 Ω or less
•Resistance between “L05-8” and “G153-9” terminals (DTC B1008-01): 1 Ω or less

Is check result OK?
Go to Step 5.

Floor harness circuit check
1)Check for proper connection to “L375” connector.
2)Disconnect “L375” connector.
3)Check the following points.
•Resistance of “A2” circuit (DTC B1007-01): 1 Ω or less
•Resistance of “B2” circuit (DTC B1008-01): 1 Ω or less

Is check result OK?
Replace instrument panel harness.
Replace floor harness.

“PASSENGER AIR BAG OFF” / “PASSENGER AIR BAG ON” indicator light circuit check
1)Check the following points.
•Resistance between “G153-8” terminal and ground (DTC B1007-01): infinity
•Resistance between “G153-9” terminal circuit and ground (DTC B1008-01): infinity

Is check result OK?
Replace SDM and recheck DTC. icon 
Go to Step 6.

Passenger air bag deactivation indicator check
1)Check passenger air bag deactivation indicator. icon 
Is check result OK?
Replace SDM and recheck DTC. icon 
Replace hazard warning switch. icon 
NOTE:
Upon completion of inspection and repair work, perform the following items.
•Reconnect all air bag system components and check that all components are properly mounted.
•Clear DTCs referring to DTC Clearance, if any DTC is detected.
•Repeat Air Bag Diagnostic System Check to check that the trouble has been solved.
