Was “Air Bag Diagnostic System Check” performed?
|
Go to Step 2.

Seat belt pretensioner check
1)Check that ignition is “OFF”.
2)Disconnect “L275” or “L276” connector.
3)Connect “STEERING WHEEL” harness (1) of special tool (C), special tools (A) and (B) to “L275” or “L276” connector.
4)Set ignition “ON”.
5)Check for DTC.
Is DTC B1071-1A or DTC B1072-1A indicated?

Go to Step 3.

Replace rear seat belt pretensioner.

Floor harness circuit check
1)Set ignition “OFF”.
2)Disconnect “L05” connector.
3)Release shorting bar in SDM connector inserting release tool (B).
4)Check the following points.
•Resistance between “L05-28” and “L05-27” terminals (LHD model: DTC B1071-1A, RHD model: DTC B1072-1A): infinity
•Resistance between “L05-29” and “L05-30” terminals (LHD model: DTC B1072-1A, RHD model: DTC B1071-1A): infinity  Is check result OK?

Replace SDM and recheck DTC.

Replace floor harness.
|
NOTE:
Upon completion of inspection and repair work, perform the following items.
•Reconnect all air bag system components and check that all components are properly mounted.
•Clear DTCs, referring to DTC Clearance if any DTC is detected.
•Repeat Air Bag Diagnostic System Check to check that the trouble has been solved.
•Clear DTCs, referring to DTC Clearance if any DTC is detected.
•Repeat Air Bag Diagnostic System Check to check that the trouble has been solved.
