NOTE:
The figure below shows condition where the following parts are removed.
•Front fender 
•Quarter-pillar outer panel
•Fuel filler door panel
•Quarter-pillar outer panel
•Fuel filler door panel
General Notes
•Welding method and number of welding points are the same on both sides. This repair instruction shows procedure for left side.
•If side sill strength is installed to the body, replace rear wheel house outer extension partially.
•If side sill strength is removed from the body, replace rear wheel house outer extension.
•If side sill strength is installed to the body, replace rear wheel house outer extension partially.
•If side sill strength is removed from the body, replace rear wheel house outer extension.
Removal
1)Drill out welding spots and remove rear wheel house outer panel.

Grind welding spots using belt sander, if necessary. |
2)If rear wheel house outer extension is to be replaced partially, mark at the shown position and cut rear wheel house outer extension.
3)Drill out welding spots and remove rear wheel house outer extension.

Installation
NOTE:
Before conducting any weld, check installation position and condition for installation part(s).

•Underbody:
1)If rear wheel house outer extension is to be replaced partially, install new rear wheel house outer extension to vehicle body and cut in stacked condition.
2)Install rear wheel house outer extension to vehicle body.
3)Conduct resistance spot weld or plug weld.
4)If rear wheel house outer extension is to be replaced partially, conduct continuous weld and apply anti-corrosion wax to back side of continuous weld part.

5)Install rear wheel house outer panel.
6)Conduct resistance spot weld and plug weld.
