An inability to register the immobilizer normally may be caused by ignition key malfunction.

Ignition key registration
1)Perform “Immobilizer Key Registration”.
2)Check that ignition is “OFF”.
3)Set ignition “ON”.
4)Recheck DTC.
Is DTC B1173 still detected?
