Procedure after ENG A-STOP Control Module Replacement

NOTE:

•Before starting this procedure, record the “Starter Drive Counter” displayed on “Data List” screen of SUZUKI scan tool referring to Step 1) of ENG A-STOP Control Module Removal and Installation.
•When replacing ENG A-STOP control module together with starting motor, perform Procedure after Starting Motor Replacement only. It is not necessary to perform “Procedure after ENG A-STOP Control Module Replacement”.

1)Check that ignition is “OFF”.

2)Connect SUZUKI scan tool to DLC.

3)Set ignition “ON”.

4)Select “Starter Driving Counter Registration” of “Utility” mode on SUZUKI scan tool.

5)Enter “Starter Drive Counter” following the instructions on SUZUKI scan tool.

6)Wait until “Completed” message appears on SUZUKI scan tool.

NOTE:

If an “Error” message appears on SUZUKI scan tool, “Starter Driving Counter Registration” has failed. In this case, first solve the problem according to the instructions on SUZUKI scan tool and then enter “Starter Driving Counter Registration” again.

7)Set ignition “OFF”, and then disconnect SUZUKI scan tool from DLC.
