Procedure after Starting Motor Replacement

1)Check that ignition is “OFF”.
2)Connect SUZUKI scan tool to DLC.
3)Set ignition “ON”.
4)Select “Starter Driving Counter Reset” of “Utility” mode on SUZUKI scan tool.
5)Execute “Starter Driving Counter Reset” process according to instructions on SUZUKI scan tool.
6)Wait until “Completed” message appears on SUZUKI scan tool.
NOTE:
If an “Error” message appears on SUZUKI scan tool, “Starter Driving Counter Reset” process has failed. In this case, first solve the problem according to the instructions on SUZUKI scan tool and then execute the “Starter Driving Counter Reset” process again.
7)Set ignition “OFF”, and then disconnect SUZUKI scan tool from DLC.
