INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Apply a light coat of gasoline or spindle oil to a new O-ring, and install it to the pressure regulator.

NOTICE:

  • Make sure that there are no scratches or foreign matter in or around the insertion hole of the delivery pipe.
  • When inserting the injector, be careful not to damage the O-ring.

(b) While turning the pressure regulator left and right, install it to the delivery pipe.

(c) Install the 2 bolts.

Torque: 10 N·m (107 kgf·cm, 7 ft·lbf)


(d) Connect the vacuum sensing hose to the pressure regulator.

(e) Connect the No. 2 fuel tube to the pressure regulator 3UR-FE FUEL: FUEL SYSTEM: PRECAUTION (2008 LX570) .

2. INSTALL AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY 3UR-FE INTAKE / EXHAUST: INTAKE MANIFOLD: INSTALLATION (2008 LX570)+

3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 3UR-FE FUEL: FUEL INJECTOR: INSTALLATION (2008 LX570)+

4. INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK 3UR-FE FUEL: FUEL INJECTOR: INSTALLATION (2008 LX570)+

5. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 3UR-FE ENGINE MECHANICAL: ENGINE ASSEMBLY: INSTALLATION (2008 LX570)+

6. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: RADIATOR GRILLE: INSTALLATION (2008 LX570)+

7. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: RADIATOR GRILLE: INSTALLATION (2008 LX570)+

8. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: RADIATOR GRILLE: INSTALLATION (2008 LX570)+
