COMMENTS ON TROUBLE SYMPTOM
- The conditions for cancelling the adaptive cruise control (ACC) system may be satisfied.
- The fail-safe function is probably cancelling ACC system. In this case, checking the DI and MPI system, ASC system and electric parking brake system diagnosis codes.
PROBABLE CAUSES
- Malfunction of the cruise control switch
- Malfunction of the stop lamp switch
- Malfunction of the ACC/FCM-ECU
- Malfunction of the DI and MPI system
- Malfunction of the ASC system
- Malfunction of the electric parking brake system
DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE
STEP 1. Check the DI and MPI system data list.
STEP 2. Check the cruise control switch.
STEP 3. Check the symptom.
