Electric Throttle Body Assembly Removal and Installation
Precautions: General safety (00)
NOTICE:
The electric throttle body will lose its original performance if it is disassembled.
Do not disassemble the electric throttle body.
If any faulty condition is found, replace the electric throttle body with a new one.
Removal
1)Disconnect negative (–) cable at battery.
2)Drain coolant. 
3)Remove air cleaner assembly with air cleaner outlet hose.
4)Disconnect engine coolant hoses (1) and connector (2) from electric throttle body assembly (3).
5)Remove electric throttle body assembly from intake manifold.
Installation
1)Clean mating surfaces and install new electric throttle body gasket (1) to intake manifold.
2)Install electric throttle body assembly (3) to intake manifold.
3)Connect connector (2) and coolant hoses (1) to electric throttle body assembly.
4)Install air cleaner assembly with air cleaner outlet hose.
5)Connect negative (–) cable at battery.
6)Refill cooling system.
7)Check cooling system for leakage.
