Removal
1)Disconnect negative (–) cable at battery.
2)Drain coolant.
3)Remove engine undercover.
4)Remove front bumper.
5)For A/C model, remove condenser upper and lower bolts.
•Manual A/C:
•Auto A/C:
NOTICE:
The A/C condenser assembly may be damaged if it hits against or interferes with other parts.
Suspend the removed A/C condenser assembly in a place where no damage will be caused during removal and installation of the radiator.
6)Disconnect radiator inlet (1) and outlet hoses (2) from radiator.
7)Disconnect radiator cooling fan motor connector (3).
8)Remove front bumper lower absorber (1) and radiator support member (2).
9)Remove radiator (2) from vehicle.
Installation
Reverse removal procedure noting the following points.
•Tighten radiator support member bolts to specified torque.
Tightening torque
Radiator support member bolt (a): 59 N·m (6.0 kgf-m, 43.5 lbf-ft)
•If there is matchmark on each of hose and pipe, install the hose aligning matchmark on hose with matchmark on pipe and then install each clamp in proper position.
•Refill cooling system with coolant.
•Check cooling system for leakage.
