Front Wheel Bearing Check

1)Check tightness of wheel bolts and retighten them to specified torque if necessary.  

2)Hoist vehicle.

3)Check wear of wheel bearing. When measuring thrust play, apply a dial gauge to front wheel as shown in figure.
Replace front wheel bearing if defective.

4)Check wheel bearing noise and smooth wheel rotation by rotating wheel.
Replace front wheel bearing if defective.
