DTC Troubleshooting
NOTE:
•When DTC B1502-H is indicated together, it is possible that sensor ground circuit is open.
•DTC B1504 is detected even though there is not any malfunction if sunload sensor is not lit by an incandescent light. Light the sunload sensor with a light.
Step Action Yes No
1
Scan tool parameter check
1)Apply light to sunload sensor vertically, holding incandescent light of approximately 100 W about 100 mm (3.94 in.) away from sunload sensor.
2)Check “Sun Load” using “Data list” mode on SUZUKI scan tool. icon
Is sun load value 0 W/m2?
Go to Step 2.
Intermittent trouble.
2
Sunload sensor signal circuit check
1)Disconnect sunload sensor connector.
2)Connect the “A1” and “A2” circuit terminals of sunload sensor connector using service wire.
3)Check “Sun Load” using “Data list” mode on SUZUKI scan tool. icon
Is sun load value 0 W/m2?
Go to Step 3.
Replace sunload sensor. icon
3
Sunload sensor signal circuit check
1)Connect the “A1” and “A2” circuit terminals of “G20” connector using service wire.
2)Check “Sun Load” using “Data list” mode on SUZUKI scan tool. icon
Is sun load value 0 W/m2?
Replace HVAC control module and recheck DTC. icon
Replace instrument panel harness.
