Air Flow Control Actuator Removal and Installation

Removal
1)Disconnect negative (–) cable at battery.
2)For LHD model, remove the following parts.
a)Remove driver side instrument panel undercover (1).
b)Remove steering column hole cover. 
c)Remove knee air bag (inflator) module (if equipped).
3)For RHD model, remove the following parts.
a)Remove glove box.
b)Remove passenger side instrument panel undercover (1).
c)Remove passenger side foot duct (1) from HVAC unit by removing screw (2).
4)Disconnect air flow control actuator connector (1).
5)Remove air flow control actuator (2) from HVAC unit by removing screws (3).
Installation
Reverse removal procedure noting the following points.
•Check that protrusions (1) on links fit into grooves (2) on arm respectively.
•Check that protrusion (3) on HVAC unit fits into hole (4) on air flow control actuator.
•Check that protrusion (3) on HVAC unit fits into hole (4) on air flow control actuator.
