B1090-01: Driver Forward Impact sensor Communication Data Inconsistent
Driver-side forward impact sensor has communicated with no response or inconsistent ID code.
•Driver-side and/or passenger-side forward impact sensor
•Driver-side and/or passenger-side forward impact sensor circuit
•SDM
B1091-01: Passenger Forward Impact sensor Communication Data Inconsistent
Passenger-side forward impact sensor has communicated with no response or inconsistent ID code.

Was “Air Bag Diagnostic System Check” performed?
Go to Step 2.

DTC check
1)Check if any of the following DTC is detected. icon 
•B1090-14, B1090-15 or B1090-87 (DTC B1090-01)
•B1091-14, B1091-15 or B1091-87 (DTC B1091-01)
Is relevant DTC detected?
Go to applicable DTC diagnosis flow.
Go to Step 3.

Forward impact sensor check
1)Check that ignition is “OFF”.
2)Replace forward impact sensor. icon 
3)Set ignition “ON”.
4)Check for DTC. icon 
Is DTC detected?
Replace SDM and recheck DTC. icon 
End.
NOTE:
Upon completion of inspection and repair work, perform the following items.
•Reconnect all air bag system components and check that all components are properly mounted.
•Clear DTCs, referring to DTC Clearance if any DTC is detected.
•Repeat Air Bag Diagnostic System Check to check that the trouble has been solved.
