Passenger Air Bag (Inflator) Module Repair Harness Installation

If the harness (1) connected to passenger air bag (inflator) module (2) through passenger air bag (inflator) module connector (3) and instrument panel harness (4) are damaged, replace them with passenger air bag (inflator) module repair harness (5) according to the following procedure.

| 9. | Floor harness joint (yellow) connector of passenger air bag (inflator) module repair harness |

3)Remove glove box.
4)Disconnect passenger air bag (inflator) module connector (2) as follows.
a)Release locking slider (1) by sliding it in arrow direction “1”.
6)Cut off passenger air bag (inflator) module harness (1) included in instrument panel harness as shown, and then wrap the cut ends of the remaining harness with insulating tape to avoid interference with other parts.
7)Fix passenger air bag (inflator) module repair harness (1) to instrument panel harness (2) with clamps (3).
8)Connect passenger air bag (inflator) module repair harness to floor harness (4).
9)Connect passenger air bag (inflator) module repair harness to passenger air bag and passenger air bag deactivation switch (if equipped).
11)Check that no DTC is detected in SDM with ignition “ON”.
