Front Door Glass Removal and Installation

Removal
1)Lower front door glass fully.
2)Disconnect negative (–) cable at battery.
3)Remove inside handle cap (1).
4)Remove screws (2), clips, and remove door trim (3) by pulling it in arrow direction.
5)Disconnect connectors of door harness.
6)Remove front door outer weather-strip (1) by moving it in arrow directions in numerical order (“1” – “2”) as shown in figure.

7)Remove door trim bracket (1) and door sealing cover (2).
8)Connect negative (–) cable at battery.
9)Connect power window main switch connector.
10)Raise front door glass about 170 mm (6.69 in.) from the lower edge of window.
11)Remove screws (1) and remove front door glass (2) by moving it in arrow directions in numerical order (“1” – “2”) as shown in figure.

Installation
Reverse removal procedure noting the following points.
•Install door glass holders (1) to specified position of front door glass (2) if they are removed from front door glass.
•Tighten front door glass screws to specified torque in numerical order (“1” – “2”) as shown in figure.
•If glass run is deformed, replace it with new one.
•Fix door sealing cover (1) with butyl tape (2).

“b”: 423.3 – 425.3 mm (16.66 – 16.74 in.)
•Fix door sealing cover (1) with butyl tape (2).
