DTC Confirmation Procedure

WARNING:

If you do not select a suitable route and take proper precautions when performing a road test, an accident can occur.

•Select a level road with no traffic to minimize the risk of accident.
•Perform the test extremely carefully.
•Perform the road test with 2 persons, a driver and a tester.

1)Set ignition “OFF” and leave ignition “OFF” for 20 minutes or more.

2)Drive vehicle at 25 km/h (16 mile/h) or more for 10 minutes or more.

DTC Troubleshooting

1	Do you have recommended tool?	Go to Step 2.	Go to Step 4.
2	Tire pressure sensor check 1)Using recommended tool, check DTC detected tire pressure sensor. Recommended tool “VT55” or “VT30” made by ATEQ Is check result OK?	Go to Step 3.	Go to Step 4.
3	DTC check 1)Clear DTC. 2)Perform DTC Confirmation Procedure and then recheck DTC. Is DTC B1A20, B1A21, B1A22 or B1A23 still detected?	Go to Step 4.	Check for intermittent trouble.
4	DTC check 1)Replace DTC detected tire pressure sensor. 2)Clear DTC. 3)Perform DTC Confirmation Procedure and then recheck DTC. Is DTC B1A20, B1A21, B1A22 or B1A23 still detected?	Replace TPMS control module and recheck DTC.	End.
