- Before starting troubleshooting, be sure to clear DTCs to clear codes stored due to the reasons described in the Hint above. Then, check for DTCs and troubleshoot according to the output DTCs.
- The multi-display or display and navigation module display is the master unit.
- Be sure to clear and recheck for DTCs after the inspection is completed to confirm that no DTCs are output.

CHECK POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT |
(a) w/ Navigation System: Refer to the Display and Navigation Assembly Power Source Circuit

(b) w/o Navigation System: Refer to the Multi-display Power Source Circuit
.
If the power source circuit is operating normally, proceed to the next step.

INSPECT RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY |
(a) Disconnect the F1, F23 and F24 receiver connectors.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

(a) Referring to the AVC-LAN wiring diagram, check the AVC-LAN circuit between the multi-display and the component which has stored this code.
(1) Disconnect all connectors between the multi-display and the component which has stored this code.
(2) Check for an open or short in the AVC-LAN circuit between the multi-display and the component which has stored this code.
OK:
There is no open or short circuit.

REPLACE MULTI-DISPLAY WITH NORMAL ONE AND CHECK |
(a) w/ Navigation System: Replace the display and navigation module display with a normal one and check if the same problem occurs again

(b) w/o Navigation System: Replace the multi-display with a normal one and check if the same problem occurs again
.
OK:
Same problem does not occur.
