COMMENTS ON TROUBLE SYMPTOM
- The conditions for initiating the adaptive cruise control (ACC) system may not be satisfied.
- The fail-safe function is probably cancelling ACC system. In this case, checking the DI and MPI system, ASC system and electric parking brake system diagnosis codes.
PROBABLE CAUSES
- Malfunction of the cruise control switch (integrated with SET -, RES + switch)
- Malfunction of the engine-ECU
- Malfunction of the ACC/FCM-ECU
- Malfunction of the DI and MPI system
- Malfunction of the ASC system
- Malfunction of the electric parking brake system
DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE
STEP 1. Check the DI and MPI system data list.
STEP 2. Check the cruise control switch (integrated with SET -, RES + switch).
STEP 3. M.U.T.-IIISE data list.
STEP 4. Check the symptom.
