DTC Confirmation Procedure
WARNING:
If you do not select a suitable route and take proper precautions when performing a road test, an accident can occur.
•Select a level road with no traffic to minimize the risk of accident.
•Perform the test extremely carefully.
•Perform the road test with 2 persons, a driver and a tester.

NOTE:
Check that the following DTCs are not detected in this “DTC Confirmation Procedure”.
•Boost pressure sensor (P0237 and P0238)
•WGV-VSV (P0244, P0245 and P0246)
•MAF sensor (P0102 and P0103)
•MAP sensor (P0107 and P0108)
•ABV-VSV (P0033, P0034 and P0035)
•Barometric pressure sensor (P2228 and P2229)
•TP sensor (P0122, P0123, P0222, P0223 and P2135)
•WGV-VSV (P0244, P0245 and P0246)
•MAF sensor (P0102 and P0103)
•MAP sensor (P0107 and P0108)
•ABV-VSV (P0033, P0034 and P0035)
•Barometric pressure sensor (P2228 and P2229)
•TP sensor (P0122, P0123, P0222, P0223 and P2135)
1)Accelerate vehicle under the following conditions for 10 sec.
•Shift position: 6th gear (M/T model) or D range (A/T model)
•Accelerator pedal: Depressed by a half of completely depressed position
•Engine speed: 3,000 rpm or more
•Accelerator pedal: Depressed by a half of completely depressed position
•Engine speed: 3,000 rpm or more

1)Check “A1”, “A2” and “A3” circuits according to Step 2 – 4 under DTC P0237 / P0238:K14C.
Is check result OK?

Repair or replace defective wire harness.

1)Check boost pressure sensor.

Replace ECM and recheck DTC.
