P2299: Brake Pedal Position / Accelerator Pedal Position Incompatible
Accelerator pedal and brake pedal are depressed at the same time while vehicle is running.
(1 D/C detection logic but MIL does not light up)
•Brake light switch / Brake switch and/or its circuit
•APP sensor and/or its circuit
•ECM

Was “Engine and Emission Control System Check” performed?
Go to Step 2.

Brake switch signal and brake light switch power supply circuit and signal circuit check
1)Check brake switch signal and brake light switch power supply circuit and signal circuit according to Step 2 – 3 of DTC P0504:D16AA.
Is check result OK?
Go to Step 3.
Repair or replace defective wire harness.

APP sensor (main) power supply circuit, signal circuit and ground circuit check
1)Check APP sensor (main) power supply circuit, signal circuit and ground circuit according to Step 3 – 6 of Accelerator Pedal Check:D16AA.
Is check result OK?
Go to Step 4.
Repair or replace defective wire harness.

APP sensor (sub) power supply circuit, signal circuit and ground circuit check
1)Check APP sensor (sub) power supply circuit, signal circuit and ground circuit according to Step 3 – 6 of Accelerator Pedal Check:D16AA.
Is check result OK?
Go to Step 5.
Repair or replace defective wire harness.

Brake light switch and brake switch check
1)Check brake light switch / brake switch. icon

Replace brake light switch / brake switch. icon

APP sensor (main) and APP sensor (sub) check
1)Check APP sensor (main) and APP sensor (sub). icon

Replace ECM and recheck DTC. icon
