P2689: Fuel Supply Heater Control Circuit High Any of the following conditions is met.
•Fuel heater relay drive circuit is shorted to power supply. (1 D/C detection logic)•Temperature of fuel heater relay drive circuit is out of specified range. |

1)Check “B1” and “B3” circuits according to Step 2 – 3 of Fuel Heater Operation Check:D16AA.
Is check result OK?

Go to Step 3.

Repair or replace defective wire harness.

Fuel heater relay check
1)Check fuel heater relay for resistance.
Is check result OK?
|
Replace ECM and recheck DTC.

Replace fuel heater relay.
