ATF Cooler Removal and Installation

Removal

1)Remove engine undercover.

2)Drain coolant.

•M16A model:

•K14C model:

3)Drain ATF.

4)Disconnect ATF cooler hoses (1).

5)Remove ATF cooler (2).

Installation

Reverse removal procedure noting the following points.

•Use new O-ring and then apply ATF.
•Tighten ATF cooler bolts to specified torque.

Tightening torque

ATF cooler bolt (a): 21 N·m (2.1 kgf-m, 15.5 lbf-ft)

•Refill cooling system.

•Check ATF level.

•Check for ATF leakage after warming up A/T.
