Transaxle Right Case Disassembly and Reassembly

Disassembly
2)Remove right bearing outer race mounting plate (1) using flat-bladed screwdriver (2) or the like, and then remove differential assembly (3).
4)Remove differential right bearing outer race (1) using special tools.
5)Remove lower countershaft right bearing outer race (1) using special tools and hydraulic press.
6)Remove upper countershaft right bearing outer race (1) using special tools and hydraulic press.
7)Remove input shaft right bearing outer race (1) using special tool and hydraulic press.
Reassembly
1)Install differential right bearing outer race (1) using special tools.
2)Install differential assembly to transaxle right case.
5)Install and tighten right bearing outer race mounting plate (1) according to the following procedure.
a)Tighten right bearing outer race mounting plate bolts No.1 (2) in numerical order (“1” – “5”) evenly and gradually to 20 N·m (2.0 kgf-m, 15.0 lbf-ft).
b)Tighten right bearing outer race mounting plate bolts No.2 (3) in numerical order (“6” – “8”) to specified torque.
c)Tighten right bearing outer race mounting plate bolts No.1 (4) in numerical order (“9” – “10”) to specified torque.
d)Tighten right bearing outer race mounting plate bolts No.1 in numerical order (“1” – “5”) to specified torque.
6)Install upper countershaft right bearing outer race (1) using special tools.
7)Install lower countershaft right bearing outer race (1) using special tools.
8)Install input shaft right bearing outer race (1) using special tools.
9)After replacing transaxle inner parts, perform TCM and Clutch Initialization.
