Was “Air Bag Diagnostic System Check” performed?

Go to Step 2.

Passenger air bag deactivation switch circuit check
1)Check that ignition is “OFF”.
2)Check for proper connection to “L05” connector.
4)Release shorting bar in SDM connector inserting release tool (B).
5)Check the following points.
•Resistance between “L05-32” and “L05-31” terminals: infinity
•Resistance between each of “L05-32” and “L05-31” terminals and ground: infinity Is check result OK?

Floor harness circuit check
1)Check for proper connection “L378” connector.
2)Disconnect “L378” connector.
3)Release shorting bar in SDM connector inserting release tool (B).
4)Check the following points.
•Resistance between “L05-32” and “L05-31” terminals: infinity
•Resistance between each of “L05-32” and “L05-31” terminals and ground: infinity Is check result OK?

Replace instrument panel harness.

Replace floor harness.

2)Check for proper connection “G168” connector.
Is passenger air bag deactivation switch in good condition?

NOTE:
Upon completion of inspection and repair work, perform the following items.
•Reconnect all air bag system components and check that all components are properly mounted.
•Clear DTCs, referring to DTC Clearance if any DTC is detected.
•Repeat Air Bag Diagnostic System Check to check that the trouble has been solved.
•Clear DTCs, referring to DTC Clearance if any DTC is detected.
•Repeat Air Bag Diagnostic System Check to check that the trouble has been solved.
