DTC P1206 / P2002 / P24A4

Precautions: General safety (00)

NOTE:
•When DTC P2002 is detected, ECM will not allow performing after-sales regeneration to prevent risk of a thermal incident due to high flow resistance of DPF®.
•Although after-sales regeneration will be possible after clearance of DTC P2002 by scan tool, do not perform after-sales regeneration.
DTC Detecting Condition and Trouble Area

P1206: Diesel Particulate Filter Restriction-Ash Accumulation Slightly
DPF® flow resistance is higher than 0.065 kPa/m3/h (0.00066 kgf/cm2/m3/h, 0.0094 psi/m3/h, 0.65 mbar/m3/h).
(1 D/C detection logic)
•Clogging DPF®
•DPF® differential pressure sensor and/or its circuit
•Fuel injector and/or its circuit
•DPF® differential pressure sensor pipe and/or hose
•Intake air system (abnormal air inhaled)
•Exhaust system
•DPF®
•ECM
P2002: Diesel Particulate Filter Efficiency Below Threshold
DPF® flow resistance is higher than 0.12 kPa/m3/h (0.00122 kgf/cm2/m3/h, 0.0174 psi/m3/h, 1.2 mbar/m3/h).
(1 D/C detection logic)
P24A4: Diesel Particulate Filter Almost Full
Any of the following conditions is met.
•Soot quantity is higher than specified value.
•Mileage from DPF® warning light ON exceeded specified distance.
