Intake Manifold Removal and Installation
Precautions: General safety (00)
Removal
1)Disconnect negative (–) cable at battery.
2)Remove air cleaner assembly. 
3)With engine coolant hoses connected, remove electric throttle body assembly from intake manifold.
4)Remove MAP sensor.
5)Disconnect the following connectors and each clamp.
•IMT valve actuator (1)
•EVAP canister purge valve (2)
•EVAP canister purge valve (2)
6)Disconnect the following hoses:
•Brake booster hose (3) from intake manifold
•EVAP canister purge valve hose (4) from intake manifold
•PCV hose (5) from intake manifold
•EVAP canister purge valve hose (4) from intake manifold
•PCV hose (5) from intake manifold
7)Remove EVAP canister purge valve (6).
8)For LHD model, remove clamp (7).
9)Remove intake manifold (1) and its gasket.
Installation
Reverse removal procedure noting the following points.
•Use new gasket.
•Check that all removed parts are back in place.
•Check that all removed parts are back in place.
