Before performing the following troubleshooting, check if the symptom is not caused by incorrect handling while referring to Owner’s Manual.

If the cause cannot be identified by the following troubleshooting, replace audio unit with a known-good one. If the symptom is cleared, audio unit is the cause.

Audio unit cannot turn ON	Faulty audio connector	Check audio connectors for connection.
Audio unit cannot turn ON	Faulty audio power supply and ground circuits (including fuse)	Refer to Audio System Circuit Diagram and Inspection of Audio System and Its Circuit.
Poor radio reception	Faulty radio antenna connector	Check radio antenna connectors for connection.
	Faulty radio antenna	Substitute a known-good radio antenna and recheck reception.
	Faulty radio antenna feeder cable	Refer to Radio Antenna Feeder Cable Inspection.
	Faulty radio antenna power supply circuit	Refer to Audio System Circuit Diagram and Inspection of Audio System and Its Circuit.
No sound from speaker	Faulty speaker connector	Check speaker connectors for connection.
No sound from speaker	Faulty speaker circuit	Refer to Audio System Circuit Diagram and Inspection of Audio System and Its Circuit.
Light mode does not change when lighting switch is turned on	Faulty illumination power supply and ground circuits (including fuse)	Refer to Audio System Circuit Diagram and Inspection of Audio System and Its Circuit.
Audio system is operative, but audio control switch does not control audio system	Faulty audio control switch connector	Check steering switch connectors for connection.
	Faulty audio control switch	Refer to Steering Switch (Audio Control Switch and Hands-Free Switch) Inspection (If Equipped).
	Faulty audio control switch circuit	Refer to Audio System Circuit Diagram.
Impossible to call using hands-free system (if equipped)	Faulty driver side microphone connector	Check driver side microphone connectors for connection.
	Faulty driver side microphone	Refer to Inspection of Audio System and Its Circuit.
	Faulty driver side microphone circuit	Refer to Audio System Circuit Diagram.
	Faulty hands-free switch connector	Check Steering switch connectors for connection.
	Faulty hands-free switch	Refer to Steering Switch (Audio Control Switch and Hands-Free Switch) Inspection (If Equipped).
	Faulty hands-free switch circuit	Refer to Audio System Circuit Diagram.
Rearview image does not come out even when select lever is shifted to “R” range (if equipped)	Rearview image signal from rearview camera inputted incorrectly	Check rearview camera circuit.
	“Reverse” position signal inputted incorrectly	Check “Reverse” position signal circuit.
Rearview image is unclear (if equipped)	Abnormal operating environments such as temperature, radio waves, etc.	Recheck in different place.
	Damaged lens	Replace rearview camera.
	Faulty audio unit	Replace audio unit.
Rearview image vibrates too much, or looks different from usual cases (if equipped)	Rearview camera installed improperly	Check installation status.
	Faulty audio unit	Replace audio unit.
USB socket cannot be used	USB harness	Check harness for pinch or damage.
USB socket cannot be used	USB connector	Check connector for damage, terminal damage or connection.
