COVER
REMOVAL
1. Remove the center console, (Refer to 23 - BODY/INTERIOR/CENTER CONSOLE - REMOVAL).
2. Disconnect the center harness (1) electrical connectors and position aside.
3. Remove the amplifier, (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/AUDIO/AMPLIFIER - REMOVAL).
4. Remove the steering column as necessary, (Refer to 19 - STEERING/COLUMN - REMOVAL).
5. Using a trim stick C-4755 or equivalent, remove the end caps (1).
6. Remove the center trim, (Refer to 23 - BODY/INSTRUMENT PANEL/CENTER BEZEL - REMOVAL).
7. Remove the radio, (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/AUDIO/RADIO - REMOVAL).
8. Remove the glove box, (Refer to 23 - BODY/INSTRUMENT PANEL/GLOVE BOX - REMOVAL).
9. Remove the upper I/P tweeter speakers, (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/AUDIO/SPEAKER - REMOVAL).
10. Remove the cluster bezel, (Refer to 23 - BODY/INSTRUMENT PANEL/CLUSTER BEZEL - REMOVAL).
11. Remove the passenger air bag, (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/RESTRAINTS/PASSENGER AIRBAG - REMOVAL)
12. Remove the glove box striker.
13. Remove the screws securing the cover to the I/P reinforcement and remove the cover.
INSTALLATION
1. Position the cover over the I/P reinforcement and install the screws.
2. Install the glove box striker.
3. Install the passenger air bag, (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/RESTRAINTS/PASSENGER AIRBAG - INSTALLATION).
4. Install the cluster bezel, (Refer to 23 - BODY/INSTRUMENT PANEL/CLUSTER BEZEL - INSTALLATION).
5. Install the upper I/P tweeter speakers, (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/AUDIO/SPEAKER - INSTALLATION).
6. Install the glove box, (Refer to 23 - BODY/INSTRUMENT PANEL/GLOVE BOX - INSTALLATION).
7. Install the radio, (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/AUDIO/RADIO - INSTALLATION).
8. Install the center trim, (Refer to 23 - BODY/INSTRUMENT PANEL/INSTRUMENT PANEL CENTER BEZEL - INSTALLATION).
9. Position the end caps (1) into place and seat the clips fully.
10. Install the steering column, (Refer to 19 - STEERING/COLUMN - INSTALLATION).
11. Install the amplifier, (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/AUDIO/AMPLIFIER - INSTALLATION).
12. Position the center harness (1) back into place, secure the support clips and connect the electrical connectors.
13. Install the center console, (Refer to 23 - BODY/INTERIOR/CENTER CONSOLE - INSTALLATION).
