Camshaft Housing Assembly Removal and Installation
Precautions: General safety (00)
Removal
1)Remove engine assembly. 
2)Remove engine oil vapor pipe (1).
3)Remove timing belt.
4)Remove common rail.
5)Remove fuel injector.
6)Remove exhaust manifold upper cover.
7)Remove turbocharger lubrication pipe and gaskets.
8)Remove intake manifold bracket (1).
9)Remove EGR-2 valve bracket.
10)Remove camshaft housing bolts in numerical order (“1” – “18”) evenly and gradually.
11)Remove camshaft housing assembly (2) and gasket.
12)Remove dowel pins, if necessary.
Installation
1)Clean mating surfaces of camshaft housing assembly and cylinder head.
2)Install dowel pins (1) to cylinder head, if removed.
3)Install new gasket (2) to cylinder head.
4)Install camshaft housing assembly (1) to cylinder head.
5)Tighten camshaft housing bolts in numerical order (“1” – “18”) evenly and gradually until specified torque is obtained.
6)Install EGR-2 valve bracket.
7)Install intake manifold bracket (2).
8)Install turbocharger lubrication pipe and new gaskets.
9)Install exhaust manifold upper cover.
10)Install fuel injector.
11)Install common rail.
12)Install timing belt.
13)Install engine oil vapor pipe (1).
14)Install engine assembly.
