INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL OIL COOLER SPACER

(a) Apply a light coat of engine oil to a new gasket.

(b) Install the gasket to the oil cooler spacer.

(c) Install the oil cooler spacer to the oil filter bracket with the bolt.

Torque: 10 N·m (102 kgf·cm, 7 ft·lbf)

2. INSTALL OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY

(a) Apply a light coat of engine oil to 2 new O-rings.

(b) Install the 2 O-rings to the oil cooler.

(c) Install the oil cooler with the 5 nuts.

Torque: 21 N·m (214 kgf·cm, 15 ft·lbf)

3. INSTALL OIL FILTER BRACKET

(a) Apply a light coat of engine oil to 2 new O-rings.

(b) Install the 2 O-rings to the timing chain cover.

(c) Install the oil filter bracket with the 2 nuts and 2 bolts.

Torque: 35 N·m (357 kgf·cm, 26 ft·lbf)

4. INSTALL NO. 1 OIL COOLER BRACKET

(a) Connect the ground wire to the cylinder block.

(b) Install the oil cooler bracket with the 2 nuts.

Torque: 21 N·m (214 kgf·cm, 15 ft·lbf)

5. INSTALL NO. 2 WATER BY-PASS PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the 4 hoses.

(b) Install the water by-pass hose with the 3 bolts.

Torque: 10 N·m (102 kgf·cm, 7 ft·lbf)

6. CONNECT COOLER COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY 3UR-FE LUBRICATION: OIL PUMP: INSTALLATION (2008 LX570)+

7. INSTALL OIL PRESSURE SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY 3UR-FE LUBRICATION: OIL PRESSURE SENSOR: INSTALLATION (2008 LX570)+

8. INSTALL OIL FILTER ELEMENT 3UR-FE LUBRICATION: OIL AND OIL FILTER: REPLACEMENT (2008 LX570)+

9. INSTALL FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT 3UR-FE ENGINE MECHANICAL: DRIVE BELT: INSTALLATION (2008 LX570)+

10. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 3UR-FE ENGINE MECHANICAL: ENGINE ASSEMBLY: INSTALLATION (2008 LX570)+

11. ADD ENGINE OIL 3UR-FE LUBRICATION: OIL AND OIL FILTER: REPLACEMENT (2008 LX570)+

12. ADD ENGINE COOLANT 3UR-FE COOLING: COOLANT: REPLACEMENT (2008 LX570)+

13. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:

When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected INTRODUCTION: REPAIR INSTRUCTION: INITIALIZATION (2008 LX570) .

14. INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK 3UR-FE LUBRICATION: OIL AND OIL FILTER: REPLACEMENT (2008 LX570)+

15. INSPECT ENGINE OIL LEVEL 3UR-FE LUBRICATION: LUBRICATION SYSTEM: ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION (2008 LX570)+

16. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK 3UR-FE COOLING: COOLING SYSTEM: ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION (2008 LX570)+

17. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 3UR-FE INTAKE / EXHAUST: EXHAUST MANIFOLD: INSTALLATION (2008 LX570)+

18. INSTALL FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: FRONT BUMPER: INSTALLATION (2008 LX570)+

19. INSTALL FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: FRONT BUMPER: INSTALLATION (2008 LX570)+

20. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: RADIATOR GRILLE: INSTALLATION (2008 LX570)+

21. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: RADIATOR GRILLE: INSTALLATION (2008 LX570)+

22. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: RADIATOR GRILLE: INSTALLATION (2008 LX570)+
