DTC Detecting Condition and Trouble Area

DTC detecting condition	Trouble area
C1651: Yaw Rate Midpoint Misadjustment Neutral position corrective signal of yaw rate sensor from ESP® control module is out of specified range.	•ESP® control module •RBS control module
C1654: Yaw Rate Sensor Circuit RBS control module detects invalid yaw rate signal from ESP® control module.

DTC Confirmation Procedure

1)Set ignition “ON”.

DTC Troubleshooting

Step	Action	Yes	No
1	Was “RBS System Check” performed?	Go to Step 2.	Go to RBS System Check.
2	DTC check 1)Check DTC in ESP® control module.   Is there any DTC(s) detected?	Go to troubleshooting for applicable DTC.	Go to Step 3.
3	DTC check 1)Perform Sensor Calibration. 2)Perform DTC Confirmation Procedure and then recheck DTC. Is DTC C1651 or C1654 still detected?	Go to Step 4.	End.
4	Yaw rate / G sensor check 1)Check yaw rate / G sensor.   Is check result OK?	Replace RBS control module and recheck DTC.	Replace ESP® control module and recheck DTC.
