INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL FRONT CRANKSHAFT OIL SEAL
(a) Apply MP grease to the lip of a new oil seal.

(b) Using SST and a hammer, tap in the oil seal to a depth between 0 and 1.0 mm (0 and 0.0394 in.) from the timing chain cover edge. SST: 09223-22010 SST: 09506-35010 NOTICE:

2. INSTALL CRANKSHAFT TIMING GEAR KEY

(a) Install the crankshaft timing gear key. |
3. INSTALL CRANKSHAFT PULLEY
4. INSTALL OIL FILTER BRACKET (w/ Oil Cooler)
5. INSTALL NO. 1 OIL COOLER BRACKET (w/ Oil Cooler)
6. CONNECT NO. 2 WATER BY-PASS PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Oil Cooler)
|
(a) Connect the 2 water by-pass hoses to the oil cooler. |
(b) Install the 3 by-pass pipe bolts.
Torque: 10 N·m (102 kgf·cm, 7 ft·lbf)
7. CONNECT COOLER COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Oil Cooler)
8. INSTALL OIL FILTER BRACKET (w/o Oil Cooler)
9. INSTALL OIL PRESSURE SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY
10. INSTALL FAN SHROUD
11. INSTALL NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE
12. ADD ENGINE COOLANT
13. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK
14. INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK
15. INSPECT ENGINE OIL LEVEL
16. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
17. INSTALL FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
18. INSTALL FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
19. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
20. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL
21. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH
22. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH
