DTC Detecting Condition and Trouble Area
DTC detecting condition Trouble area
B1125: Clutch / Shift Switch Malfunction
M/T model:
Inconsistency between signals from CPP No.1 switch or CPP No.2 switch and inhibit switch signal transmitted via CAN communication.
A/T model:
Inconsistency between signals from transmission range sensor or P position switch and transmission shift position signal transmitted via CAN communication.

DTC Confirmation Procedure
M/T model
1)Set ignition “ON”.
2)Depress clutch pedal fully for 3 seconds or more.
3)Release clutch pedal.
A/T model
1)Set ignition “ON” and leave ignition “ON” for 30 seconds.

Is any DTC other than B1125 detected?
Go to troubleshooting for applicable DTC.
Go to Step 2.

CPP No.1 switch signal circuit check
1)Set ignition “OFF”.
2)Disconnect CPP No.1 switch, “E01”, “E484” and “L21” connectors.
3)Check for proper terminal connection to CPP No.1 switch, “E01”, “E484” and “L21” connectors.
4)If connections are OK, check the following points.
•Resistance of “A1” circuit: less than 1 Ω
•Resistance between “A1” circuit and ground: infinity
•Resistance between “A1” circuit terminal and each terminal at CPP No.1 switch connector: infinity
Is check result OK?
Go to Step 3.
Repair or replace defective wire harness.

CPP No.2 switch signal circuit check
1)Disconnect CPP No.2 switch connector.
2)Check for proper terminal connection to CPP No.2 switch and “L21” connectors.
3)If connections are OK, check the following points.
•Resistance of “A2” circuit: less than 1 Ω
•Resistance between “A2” circuit and ground: infinity
•Resistance between “A2” circuit terminal and each terminal at CPP No.2 switch connector: infinity
Is check result OK?
Go to Step 4.
Repair or replace defective wire harness.

1)Check CPP No.1 switch.

Go to troubleshooting for applicable DTC.

Transmission range sensor signal circuit check
1)Set ignition “OFF”.
2)Disconnect “C06”, “E01”, “E484” and “L21” connectors.
3)Check for proper terminal connection to “C06”, “E01”, “E484” and “L21” connectors.
4)If connections are OK, check the following points.
•Resistance of “A1” circuit: less than 1 Ω
•Resistance between “A1” circuit and ground: infinity
•Resistance between “A1” circuit terminal and each terminal at “C06” connector: infinity
Is check result OK?
Go to Step 4.
Repair or replace defective wire harness.

P position switch signal circuit check
1)Check “A2” circuit according to Step 1 of DTC B1126.
Is check result OK?
Go to Step 5.
Repair or replace defective wire harness.

Transmission range sensor check
1)Check transmission range sensor. icon

Replace TCM. icon

P position switch check
1)Check P position switch. icon

Replace keyless start control module and recheck DTC. icon
