Communication Check

Precautions: Precautions for Diagnosing Trouble · General safety (00)

Keyless Entry / Keyless Start Control Module
1)Set ignition “OFF”.
2)Connect “G16” connector to keyless entry / keyless start control module.
3)Set ignition “ON”.
4)Select “Communication Bus Check” menu of SUZUKI scan tool.
5)Check the CAN communication that control modules, sensors and keyless entry / keyless start control module which have been already connected are in normal condition. icon 
6)If any malfunction is found, replace keyless entry / keyless start control module and recheck DTC.

•Keyless push start model: icon 
HVAC Control Module (Auto A/C Model)
1)Set ignition “OFF”.
2)Connect “G20” connector to HVAC control module.
3)Set ignition “ON”.
4)Select “Communication Bus Check” menu of SUZUKI scan tool.
5)Check the CAN communication that control modules, sensors and HVAC control module which have been already connected are in normal condition. icon 
6)If any malfunction is found, replace HVAC control module and recheck DTC. icon 
Steering Angle Sensor
1)Set ignition “OFF”.
2)Connect “G33” connector to steering angle sensor.
3)Set ignition “ON”.
4)Select “Communication Bus Check” menu of SUZUKI scan tool.
5)Check the CAN communication that control modules, sensors and steering angle sensor which have been already connected are in normal condition. icon 
6)If any malfunction is found, replace steering angle sensor and recheck DTC. icon 
SDM
1)Set ignition “OFF”.
2)Connect “L04” connector to SDM.
3)Set ignition “ON”.
4)Select “Communication Bus Check” menu of SUZUKI scan tool.
5)Check the CAN communication that control modules, sensors and SDM which have been already connected are in normal condition. icon 
6)If any malfunction is found, replace SDM and recheck DTC. icon 
TPMS Control Module (TPMS Model)
1)Set ignition “OFF”.
2)Connect “L306” connector to TPMS control module.
3)Set ignition “ON”.
4)Select “Communication Bus Check” menu of SUZUKI scan tool.
5)Check the CAN communication that control modules, sensors and TPMS control module which have been already connected are in normal condition. icon 
6)If any malfunction is found, replace TPMS control module and recheck DTC. icon 
Rain / Light Sensor (LED Headlight Model)
1)Set ignition “OFF”.
2)Connect “K11” connector to rain / light sensor.
3)Set ignition “ON”.
4)Select “Communication Bus Check” menu of SUZUKI scan tool.
5)Check the CAN communication that control modules, sensors and rain / light sensor which have been already connected are in normal condition. icon 
6)If any malfunction is found, replace rain / light sensor and recheck DTC. icon 
RBS Control Module (RBS Model)
1)Set ignition “OFF”.
2)Connect “E490” connector to RBS control module.
3)Set ignition “ON”.
4)Select “Communication Bus Check” menu of SUZUKI scan tool.
5)Check the CAN communication that control modules, sensors and RBS control module which have been already connected are in normal condition. icon 
6)If any malfunction is found, replace RBS control module and recheck DTC. icon 
Headlight Auto Leveling Control Module (LED Headlight Model)
1)Set ignition “OFF”.
2)Connect “E18” connector to headlight auto leveling control module.
3)Set ignition “ON”.
4)Select “Communication Bus Check” menu of SUZUKI scan tool.
5)Check the CAN communication that control modules, sensors and headlight auto leveling control module which have been already connected are in normal condition. icon 
6)If any malfunction is found, replace headlight auto leveling control module and recheck DTC. icon 
TCM (A/T model)
1)Set ignition “OFF”.
2)Connect “C06” connector to TCM and “C01” connector to ECM.
3)Set ignition “ON”.
4)Select “Communication Bus Check” menu of SUZUKI scan tool.
5)Check the CAN communication that control modules, sensor and TCM which have been already connected are in normal condition. icon 
6)If any malfunction is found, replace TCM and recheck DTC. icon
