Instrument Panel Disassembly and Reassembly

Disassembly
1)Remove combination meter. 
2)Remove driver side ventilation louver.
3)Remove driver inside upper cover (1).
4)Remove instrument panel switch bezel (2).
5)Remove driver side demister nozzle (3).
6)Remove center ventilation louver.
7)Remove audio unit. (if equipped)
8)Remove clock.
9)Remove passenger side demister nozzle (1).
10)Remove instrument panel center ornament reinforcement (2).
11)Remove passenger side ventilation louver.
12)Remove HVAC control unit or auto A/C panel.

13)Remove HVAC control module. (auto A/C model)
14)Remove parking sensor front buzzer. (if equipped)
15)Remove instrument panel center lower box (1).
16)Remove glove box light switch (2). (if equipped)

17)Disconnect glove box light connector (1). (if equipped)
18)Remove glove box upper cover (2).
19)Remove the following parts.
•Accessory socket
•Foot light (if equipped)
•Sunload sensor (if equipped)
•Inside air temperature sensor (if equipped)
•GPS antenna (if equipped)
•USB socket
•Foot light (if equipped)
•Sunload sensor (if equipped)
•Inside air temperature sensor (if equipped)
•GPS antenna (if equipped)
•USB socket
20)Disconnect harness clamps from ventilator duct, and then remove ventilator ducts (1) from instrument panel.
21)Remove passenger air bag (inflator) module bolts (1), and disconnect passenger air bag (inflator) module connector (2) as shown in figure.
a)Release lock button (3).
b)Disconnect passenger air bag (inflator) module connector with lock released.
22)Remove claws (4), and then remove passenger air bag (inflator) module (5) from instrument panel.
23)Disconnect harness clamps from instrument panel, and then remove instrument panel (1) from steering support member.
24)Remove aspirator hose (2) from instrument panel. (If equipped)
Reassembly
Reverse removal procedure noting the following points.
•Fit claws (1) of passenger air bag (inflator) module (2) to instrument panel securely.
•Lock connector for air bag (inflator) module securely.
•Tighten passenger air bag (inflator) module bolts (3) to specified torque.
•Lock connector for air bag (inflator) module securely.
•Tighten passenger air bag (inflator) module bolts (3) to specified torque.
